Not Ready for this Weekend to End!

This has been the best weekend I have had in a long time…and I have a lot of great weekend so that’s saying a lot.  For the first time in a long time, my family (mom, dad, and brother) were all in the same place.  Life get’s so busy for all of us that this is truly a rarity.

Adventures at the Outlets

Arguably, one of the greatest things about living in Orlando is our close proximity to great (sometimes designer) deals at not one but two incredible outlets.  My brother needed a few new things and I always want a few new things so it was perfect.  Parking was absolutely INSANE.  After searching for 15 minutes or so, we decided an hour of our time was worth the $10 it takes to valet the car so we bailed into the valet line.

I bought a few new sweaters and accessories at the Banana Republic Outlet – a mainstay for my work wardrobe – and we browsed lots of other stores.  I am also extremely excited about this find at the Sperry Outlet:

A Killer Long Run

I killed my long run this morning.  Unlike last week’s injury-filled cut-short run, I felt strong and fast and 11 miles was a breeze.  I also got to premier my new Sweat Pink tank from Fit Approach.  It is a really nice materials, fits great, and was perfect for my run today (I figured black was ok even for Florida since the air was so cool today – around 50 degrees when I started).

Done!

Fun Tonight

We have an interesting night ahead of us tonight.  We are headed to the Orlando Magic/Boston Celtics basketball game downtown at the Amway Center.  This will be only the second time I’ve been to an NBA game (my first was a Magic Game at the Amway Center about 2 years ago).  We are going with our friends so it should be lots of fun!  If you know me at all, you know I do not enjoy watching sports.  However, Charles really wanted to go and it’s with my friends who I love so I know it will be a good time!

I am sad to see the weekend go but at least I filled it in the best sort of way – with family, friends, and lots of fun!

How have you spent this holiday weekend?

What’s your favorite sport to spectate?  Any advice for enjoying the game as a non-sports lover?
